On Reading the Bible Follow-Up

A video and return to the interpretive frameworks applied to the Bible

For the Sunday Post on May 31, 2023, I talked about our interpretive framework applied to approaching the Bible. I typically work out ideas on my social channels (access my social media channels from my Link Tree) either before or after writing here on Substack. Ever since grad school in Philosophy I’ve viewed research like stand up comedy! Practice, work out new material, learn from other “comics,” respond to audience feedback—and this approach is still very much my process. A couple minutes in short form on Twitter, then three minutes on TikTok, maybe 90 seconds on Instagram… You see what I mean!

I’d love to hear if this multimedia approach resonates with the way you consume new material? If you like these short videos, would you like to see more like this in video and/or podcast form on this Substack? Check out the video (10 minutes), and share your thoughts in the subscriber only comment section!

So let me know what you think about my approach to interpreting the Biblical literature, and/or let me know if you like these short videos! Let’s get some dialogue going in the comment section!

I appreciate you readers out there! Each “like” on one of these posts give me validation and encouragement! Stay tuned for a Thursday post when I return to the idea of institutional critique in religion that I hinted toward in this past Sunday’s post!

xx. -a.
